Privacy Policy
K-K ("the Site") values your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws. This policy describes how we handle personal information.
1. Information we collect and why
- Contact and consultation requests (landing/IT inquiries): name, email, company, phone, message — to process and respond.
- Board game / tutoring requests: parent name, contact, email, child info, preferred times — to process and contact.
- Cafe reservations and game matching: name, contact, email, reservation time — to provide booking and matching.
- Games and tools (without login): scores, records, reward points, and check-in data are stored only on your device (localStorage). Leaderboard submissions may store nickname (initials) and score on our servers; we do not identify individuals.
- Google login and game rewards (optional): when you log in, we receive account id, email, name, and profile photo from Google. We store your nickname and reward/check-in data (e.g. streak, last check-in) on our servers for account identification, syncing rewards across devices, and displaying your name on leaderboards. You can use games without logging in; then reward data stays on your device only.
- Daily Brief paid subscription (Basic/Pro): we store your account email address and delivery records (timestamp, success/failure). Purpose: sending the daily morning brief email included in the subscription, and verifying delivery. You can stop delivery anytime via the unsubscribe link in the email; doing so does not affect your subscription or site access.
2. Retention
We keep data as long as needed for the purpose (e.g. fulfilling a request) or as required by law. Data tied to Google login is kept while your account is active; we delete it when you request deletion or disconnect. Otherwise we delete when the purpose is fulfilled.
3. Third-party sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and local storage for language, theme, and (when not logged in) game scores, reward points, and check-in data. For non-logged-in users this stays on your device. Logged-in users have session cookies and reward/point data stored on our servers. We do not use this data to encourage ad clicks.
5. Web analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) for usage statistics. GA4 collects anonymized data such as visits and time on site via cookies; it does not collect directly identifying information. Google's practices are described in Google Privacy Policy.
6. Google services (login and ads)
Login uses Google OAuth; we collect the information described in section 1. Google’s privacy practices apply.
6-1. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Some pages show Google AdSense ads. Google may use cookies for relevant ads; their practices are in Google Privacy Policy. We do not ask or encourage you to click ads. Revenue is from legitimate ad display and user choice only.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of your data. For data stored via Google login (nickname, points, check-in), contact us to delete or correct; you can change your nickname in the game UI.

9. Site content quality
We regularly review and improve descriptions for tools, games, and services so visitors get clear, useful guidance. We minimize pages that are only auto-generated link lists and do not use copy or layout intended to trick users into clicking ads. For policy feedback, use the contact email above or the /contact page.
10. Payment information
Payments for paid products are processed by our payment provider (PortOne). Payment instrument details such as card number, expiry date, and CVC are collected and stored by the provider and are never stored on our servers. We store the order identifier, product name, amount, payment and refund status, timestamps, and — for subscriptions — the billing key issued by the provider and the next scheduled charge date. We use this to confirm payment, deliver the product, renew subscriptions, process refunds, and retain transaction records as required by Korean e-commerce law. Records of payment and supply of goods are retained for 5 years; records of consumer complaints and dispute resolution for 3 years.
11. Data processors
We use the following processors to operate the service: PortOne (payment processing, payment verification, refunds), Railway (hosting and data storage), Google (login authentication, usage analytics, advertising), Resend (transactional and notification email), Anthropic (AI content generation features). Any change to processors or the scope of processing will be disclosed in this policy.
